The Ed Zone and EdHumphries.com is designed by Sean O’Brien and maintained by Ed Humphries – a man with a tenuous grasp on the nature of narcissism.

Sean O’Brien is the impetus for this endeavor. As this site construction continues to grow – I look to Sean, the site foreman, to faciliate all of the latest and greatest advancements. Most importantly, Sean is a true brother – a friend of Ed’s from way back when they shared the same nexus point in their paper routes. That winding road has led here…

Ed attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst from 1990 to 1994 and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism. Although he has worked in the financial industry since his graduation, he has continued to scratch that creative writing itch through an alarming number of failed screenplay attempts. Regardless, that call forever beckons – hence a blog is born.

Ed plans to utilize this site to pontificate on all manner of topics. It is a forum for relaying anecdotes, providing news of the day, dispensing his observations on all manner of pop-culture (movie, television and game reviews) and beaming like the proud family man he is with tales from clan Humphries.

Ed currently resides in Central Massachusetts (on the Connecticut border) with his beautiful wife Andrea and two adorable children, Colin and Aria. Look for guest appearances by the family – and friends – as this tapestry continues to grow.
