Editor’s Note – Many of you received this letter in your mailbox but there are so many of you out there and I haven’t enough scratch to fund the postage necessary to get a card into the hands of every acquaintance, spammer and web predator that surfaces on this site so as tradition dictates, I have reposted our annual Christmas Letter here for all to enjoy. Now, would you look at that. I helped to hasten the holiday. As I write this, we are buried in snow and mere days from the most wonderful time of the year. I hope everyone enjoyed this year’s edition of the Ho Ho Ho Throwdown. It’s more work than I ever realize it’s going to be (especially when you jump from 2 to 15 contestants) but I have a great time coming up with the questions and running the show, so it’s all worth it.

There’s a traffic jam at the top with the combined might of Sean, Joe and Matt knocking King Rob off his throne. Rob must now battle for second against a surging Justin and Steve. Of course, there are four rounds and 40 questions left to go so this is still anyone’s game – although if I had to bet, I’d say that Chris K ends 6 rounds with 42 points. (Assuming I have my math right – let’s see, 6 X 7 = well, you get the idea.)

This is a new one, just published a couple of weeks ago. And this one, I’m real proud of. I’ve got a number of posts out there which provide you all with a small window into the day-to-day travails of Clan Humphries. I try to inject some levity into them for I know the bittersweet always has a habit of seeping in as well. But that’s life. Anyway, a lot of you read this one already and I’ve received some kind words. I swear, there are days where I consider myself a colossal screw-up of a parent.
