@JFCC – You and I are certainly from the same genes as that is one of the ‘Pros’ I used when debating the ‘Cons’ for doing the deed. I also decided that whatever house party I go to, I’ll have to dress up my Beer of choice in custom made ‘Duff’ sleeves. I think the big bulging eyes is also necessary so I have to figure out how to pull that off (I assume Michael’s Craft shop should have something).

Incidentally, you can back me on this. Every time I would worry about going naturally bald, I got the stock line, “It’s hereditary on your mother’s side.” Well, you and I can discount that notion. I have an eightysomething granddad with a full head of hair.

From what I’ve read, the genetic predisposition toward baldness is pretty complicated and may come from either or both sides. My granddad on my mom’s side has a shiny pate, as do two of his four sons. So it’s apparently a toss-up for me.

And there may be a good side to this–at least you can finally do that Homer costume right. Just get some bright blue pants, a white polo shirt, and paint little black lines on the back and top of your head with a dry-erase marker. Yellow skin paint optional.

Agree with Juice, tough to get the full picture (no pun intended) of what it looks like without the same shot as you posted Before. Looks good from what I can tell though.

Also, after you posted the before photo, I was going to suggest you play a little joke before the real after photo went up. Post a Michael Scott Photoshop special of the before photo with hair painted on the top of you melon, Sy Spurling style.

As for the wife, didn’t she do the clipping or did you take care of it yourself?

@Juice – What does the wife think? Let’s put it this way. In the underworld, criminals work best in pairs. There are the hit men and then there are the getaway drivers. I was the getaway driver. I’d check in with her but I think she’s talking to her probie right now.

@JFCC – Instant Karma got me into this mess. I spent the lion’s share of my early twenties mocking my college buddies who were saying adieu to their coiffure just a wee bit early. With that snake having circled back around to nosh its tail, I now spend my days drafting lists of anyone else I may have wronged. It’s only a matter of time before I grow tusks.
