We are all thinking of Peter...Can't wait for him to be back, hope the Sox invite him to throw out the first pitch when he is healthy enough, he'll get a bigger than Pedro ovation..

[...] So, the idea of this post is to catch up on this week’s activity, much like This Week in Basball does and a bit like Ed just did over on The Ed Zone. [...]

My heart sunk when I heard the news about Gammons during the WEEI Sox broadcast the other night. Surely, all baseball fans are going to miss his on-the-spot coverage of the July 31st trading deadline. However, I hope he is able to make a full recovery so that he has the chance to cover next year's if that's what he still wants to do, and I'm willing to bet that will be the case.

We'll see how much of a hit that Dunky takes now that I have started trying to remove coffee from my diet this week. Oh, and to be fair, the Dunk building that we spent all those nights in no longer exists anyway. They razed it and built this new shop in its place four or five years ago.

As I referenced in my post about the PS3 and Sony's Blu-Ray folly, they are not heading down a good path and this latest news makes it seem worse. Well, maybe they'll prove us wrong...

I have to agree with you & Denis Leary on Dunkin Donuts.. It's just not the same out here without it. I miss my Hazelnut Iced Coffee.. Starbucks & Coffee Bean are good, but I long for a Dunkin's to make its way out West.
