Happy birthday Aria!! Can't believe a year is gone already. Can't wait to someday be living in the same state so these 4 kids who are sooo close in age can get to know each other :)

We can see who is gifted with the words in this duo. (Ed) Also with the camera! Thanks for that Sean. Can't believe my little peach, princess, sweetie pie, angel is already 1!
The first 2 days in the hospital were so special for Aria and I. We spent most of it just the two of us. We created a bond immediately and you can see it is still there by the fact that she screams for me every time she hears my voice or even sees me out of the corner of her eye. This may seem annoying, but part of me loves it. For some reason during that time, I looked at her and called her peaches. The name has stuck. we even call her Aria Leigh Pea. Pea actually being short for peaches. A lot of other nick names as you can see too, but that one has the most meaning for me.
We love you little peaches! Love, Mama

[...] Continuing the new tradition, I have posted some pictures of Aria to my flickr photostream. Since she is turning one today, I don’t have a lot and I also had to *borrow* some from Ed’s flickr and a Kodak gallery Andi set up from Saturday. Of course, Ed has posted another excellent birthday tribute for his daughter. Colin and Aria celebrated their birthday’s with friends and family and I was the designated photographer for cake and presents. As I joked in a flickr comment, I need to get some original copies for my portfolio that will eventually go under the Visual section of this here bloggy blog. [...]
